Morocco, both Berber and Arab, has managed to maintain an ethnic, cultural and linguistic balance. Seductive country where the sun, beaches, mountains, Sahara and oases, offer a diversity of extraordinary landscapes. CLIMATE

Morocco has a temperate climate, varying according to the altitude and the seasons: in summer the country experiences the conditions of the hot arid zone and in winter the climate is mild except in the mountains depending on the distance from the ocean. In the South, the desert and dry climate characterizes the pre-Saharan and Saharan region.

Entry formalities

No visa is required for nationals from Europe and America, for a stay of less than three months. However, check with the Moroccan consulate in your country of residence.

Internet :

Very good coverage in 4G except some more remote areas. You can connect to WIFI everywhere.

Insurance :

Before leaving, it may be wise to take out insurance that will reimburse you for repatriation costs and medical costs in the event of a problem.
Some bank cards include repatriation insurance in their services. Check with your bank.

dress code :

Dress comfortably, be sure to respect the customs and traditions of the country. Women should wear appropriate attire (covering shoulders and knees) if there are visits to places of worship. No clothing restriction

what type of food should i expecting to eat ?

Morocco offers real gastronomy. Moroccan cuisine consists of soup, salad, grilled meat, fish and pastry. Its cuisine is famous all over the world.
(Avoid cold salads, orange juice sold in the streets, always drink bottled water even use it to brush your teeth)

money and banking hours ?

The current currency in Morocco is the dirham. Most credit cards are accepted, but we strongly recommend cash for purchases at local stores.

The dirham approx. (1 € = 11 DH or MAD) (1 $ US = 9 DH or MAD) Banks are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Currency exchange offices: they are open every day except sometimes on Sunday afternoon; their opening hours are very wide.

It is easy to change money in Morocco, and the transaction is more advantageous than withdrawing cash or paying by card, which has a fee.
Note that banknotes must be in good condition for exchange, otherwise they may be refused.

Electrical equipment :

220V, the sockets are the same as in Europe.

Tariffs and factors

All prices are inclusive of VAT (the costs related to bank transfers and credit card payments are not included).

After each payment you will receive an email confirmation and an invoice.

Tips :

We select and choose our accompanying drivers, local accredited guides, so that you have the best service, hence the importance of respecting the minimum amounts suggested for tips Tipping is a highly recommended practice in Morocco since people who work in the tourist sector have a rather seasonal job.

The minimum amounts suggested are: (The amounts mentioned are in Moroccan dirhams) They will be grateful if you convert them into money dirhams when remitting tips.

  • Driver-guide: 60 to 70 dh per person per day
  • Local guides: Full day, 65 dh per person per visit
  • Local guides: Half-day, 30 dh per person per visit
  • Carriers of accommodation luggage: 7 dh per person ditto at the exit
  • Luggage porter of the Riad in Fez and Marrakech: 20 dh per person per Riad, ditto at the exit
  • Local lunch with service: 15 dh per person (per meal)
  • Dinner in the Riad with service: 16 dh per person (per dinner)
  • Camel driver for the camel ride: 15 dh per person (per hike)
  • Animation team and service at the Luxury bivouac: 30 dh per person (once)
  • Driver excursion in 4 x 4 in the desert: 18 dh per person
  • Housekeeper: at your discretion
  • For meals not included: Restaurants, cafes and bars: 10% of your bill

For all our tours: limitation to 1 suitcase and 1 hand luggage (per person).
